WORKSHOP MODULES
5A. Career Planning
The session outlines a repeatable process for achieving career success: (1) Define Success (2) Assess Skills/Experiences (3) Understand the “System” (3) Develop a Plan (4) Execute the Plan; and (5) Evaluate/Adjust as needed. It emphasizes lifelong, proactive ownership of career development, with a focus on both immediate roles and long-term goals
5B. Creating a CV/Resume
The module teaches university students and young professionals how to develop effective CVs/resumes using the 5R’s model (Reflect, Research, Record, Review, Refine), enriched with practical insights from experienced professionals. It also includes guidance on writing strong cover letters to complement and introduce the CV/resume.
5C. Preparing for an Interview
The session prepares university students and young professionals for employment interviews, covering how to secure interviews and how to prepare, perform, and follow up effectively. It emphasizes the STAR model (Situation, Task, Action, and Risk) for answering interview questions and draws on real-world insights and lessons from experienced interviewers and candidates.
DELIVERY & PARTNERSHIP
Each module runs for 60 minutes (with 10–15 minutes of discussion or Q&A)
In-person delivery.
Suitable for small groups or large cohorts.
Each workshop should include at least three (3) modules — customizable by discipline, group, or institutional priorities — plus one (1) one-hour coaching session.
