3A: Leading Effective Teams
Focus: Many people’s first leadership experience happens within a team rather than a formal position of authority. This module is therefore highly relevant for participants from all backgrounds.
Content:
Introduces a proprietary “5C” Team Effectiveness Model:
Clarity of Purpose – Define the team’s goals and objectives clearly
Commitment – Align dedication and accountability among team members
Capability – Leverage the skills and experience of the team
Culture of Trust – Build psychological safety and openness
Compatibility – Ensure team members can collaborate effectively
Participants explore how to perform more effectively as team members or leaders
Helps participants identify specific improvement opportunities for teams on which they serve
Learning Approach: Real-world examples, speaker experiences, and interactive discussion
3B: Effective Meetings
Focus: Meetings are essential but often inefficient. This session teaches participants how to conduct effective meetings that achieve results.
Content:
Key principles of planning, leading, and participating in meetings
Practical tips on “what to do” and “what not to do”
Techniques to maximize meeting time and engagement
Applicable for all types of meetings, from project updates to strategic discussions
Learning Approach: Interactive exercises, speaker insights, and real-world scenarios

Each workshop should include at least three (3) modules — customizable by discipline, group, or institutional priorities — plus one (1) one-hour coaching session.
